August 2014

Welcome back to school Grizzlies!  I hope that all of you had a wonderful summer and have had some time for rest and relaxation. I am looking forward to a great school year ahead!

We have made some changes to our Late Starts and Den Time this year.  Late starts will continue to be EVERY Tuesday in which classes will begin at 8:10 am.   Buses will run on their normal schedule.  We ask that students enter school through the main front doors. 

Den Time has been moved to the end of the day right after 7th period.

Parents we also need your help with the student drop off/ pick up area.  Please use the designated area located on the east side of the building.  Please do not drop off your student in the bus loading area or at the front of the main entrance or main parking lot.  We want to make our parking lot as safe as we can for students, teachers, staff and parents.  We appreciate your cooperation!

We want to welcome our new 7th graders and new students to Rocky Mountain Junior High!  We are excited for you to be a part of a wonderful school! We would also like to welcome several new teachers and staff members:

Softball Tryouts will begin the first day of school, so come prepared! Tryouts will run on August 20th & 21st right after school.  (These are early out days).  There will be a 2 day softball clinic on August 13th & 14th from 9:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m.  The cost is $25.00.  So, come and join in the fun!  If you are planning to attend the clinic and/or tryout for the RMJH Girls Softball Team, please go to Mrs. Wadsworth’s blog (http://blog.wsd.net/awadsworth/) and fill out the questionnaire under the softball tab.  I look forward to seeing you at clinics and tryouts!
