It’s hard to believe that we are already into 3rd quarter! Grizzlies have been working hard and have accomplished many great things so far this school year. February brings about some exciting events for many of our students. The 9th graders will be meeting with the Fremont High or Roy High counseling departments to begin their registration process for next year. 7th & 8th graders have also begun their registration process for next year as well. The RMJH counselors have met with many of the incoming 7th grade students at the elementary schools to introduce themselves and to begin their registration process. The week of February 3rd - 7th is Counselor Appreciation Week! Make sure you take a minute and thank your counselor for all of their hard work and dedication.
Our 8th grade students will be involved in the Direct Writing Assessment this month. The English teachers have been working hard with their students to help them get ready for this assessment. Good Luck Grizzlies!

City Hall Seminar
City Hall Seminar
Throughout the year, West Haven City will be hosting seminars at City Hall that will be FREE to the public. The first seminar is scheduled for Friday, February 28th at 6:00 P.M. Internet Safety 101 will cover predators, protecting on-line content, "sexting," and cyber bullying. Josie Angerhofer of Utah NetSmartz will be the presenter and has asked that the seminar be attended by adults only, as some of the content is explicit. Principal Message December 2013
Our Sub 4 Santa campaign is off to a great start! The students have been working towards a few incentives. During Den Time students can donate money or canned goods. The class that donates the most money will get a donut party for the entire class! We also have a raffle during lunch. Students can purchase a raffle ticket for $1.00 to win a jar of candy. On Friday the 13th we will hold a pie eating contest to help raise money! Students have done a wonderful job so far donating money and food to help out those who are less fortunate. Once the students have finished collecting food they will be donating it to a local food bank. Our student body officers and peer leaders have identified several families in our community who are in need of some help this Christmas. The money that is donated for Sub 4 Santa will go towards helping these families this holiday season. So far RMJH students have raised just under $1,000! Thank you for your donations. If you would like to make a donation please come into the office!
The volleyball and NAL teams had a great season! Both teams made it to the playoffs but came up a little short. Our students are the best! Not only are they athletic but they are smart! Way to go Grizzlies.
We are continuing to work on our goal of having our entire 9th grade on track for graduation through our Back on Track – Grizzlies for Graduation program. If your 9th grader failed a class first quarter please contact the counseling office to find out more information about how to get your student Back on Track!
